Testimonials - HireWL

See what our customers say about our friendly and reliable service.

We really value our relationship with White Light’s hire team. Having worked with Stuart Porter and Jedd Hamilton for many years, they understand our needs. The team is always accommodating, whether we need to adjust, swap, or add more equipment during tech weeks. The speed of response from WL is invaluable; it means we can make creative changes quickly, ensuring that designers get exactly what they need.

Andrew Stuttard – Head of Lighting for Oedipus at The Old Vic

Having worked with WL on numerous occasions, we knew we could rely on their extensive experience in theatre lighting and their adaptability. Their work across various genres made them the perfect partner for this project.

Adam Bassett – Lighting Designer for The Greatest Showman, Come Alive! at Empress Museum in Earls Court

...I’d also like to say thanks to the team at WL who continue to support this show after thirty years and always work incredibly hard to provide something that fulfils our budgetary, artistic and logistical needs. They truly understand the show and what it needs, and that long-standing relationship is greatly valued.

Rick Fisher – Lighting Designer for Inspector Calls at The National Theatre

Jessica Hung Han Yun – Lighting Designer for Dr. Strangelove at The National Theatre

It’s been a fantastic experience working as Associate on a show as ambitious and exciting as Burlesque. A huge thanks also needs to be given to the WL team for their continued support throughout the process

Dale Driscoll – Associate Lighting Designer for Burlesque Touring Show

For Kiss Me, Kate, I’d like to acknowledge the great work of Lighting Programmer Nick Simmons, Production Electrician Pete Lambert and the Barbican Lighting Team, UK Associate LD Hector Murray and Associate LD Karen Spahn. I’m very proud of the work we were all able to put onstage, due in no small part to the stellar support we received from Andy Cullen and the WL team. They went above and beyond to deliver the tools we needed despite the limited budget and fast- track nature of the project. They also stood right behind us as the design evolved and changes to the rig were required during the technical rehearsal and preview period – something we greatly appreciated.

Don Holder – Lighting Designer for Kiss Me, Kate at The Barbican Theatre
